The 45th Biennial Convention will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama. Its beautiful exterior, designed to bring to mind ocean waves, wind, and sunlight, has become the new symbol of the historic and cosmopolitan city of Yokohama. The convenient location, world-class facilities and superb surroundings of water and greenery will create an outstanding environment for our convention.

Registration Policies
Online registration is open until Thursday, June 28 (23:59 Japan Standard Time). To save 25 percent, register by our early registration deadline, Wednesday, May 30 (23:59 JST). Before registering, be sure to read the registration policies, which outline fees, important dates and more.
Convention Details
Hotels
The Intercontinental Yokohama Grand Hotel is the official convention hotel. Room blocks are available in several hotels throughout Yokohama. Review the hotel list to get an idea of where to stay, as you will be asked to reserve your hotel through the online platform when registering for the convention. Rooms must be reserved by June 28. Please note: Hotel reservations should be made through the convention registration site.

Haiku Contest
Prior to convention, we want to collect your Haiku and Senryu creations—both of which are forms of Japanese poetry. We will collect the poems, randomly select a few for presentation in Yokohama, and post all in one place as a memory of our meeting in Yokohama in 2018.

Convention Delegates Handbook
Through payment of the $495 convention fee, all clubs in good standing are entitled to send one delegate to take part in the business of the federation at each convention. The job as convention delegate is a significant one. This handbook provides valuable information on your role as a delegate.
